Ron Carter Ford is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Master Service Technician to join our growing service team. Responsibilities
- Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair complex mechanical, electrical, and drivability concerns.
- Perform repairs and maintenance according to manufacturer specifications and dealership standards.
- Utilize advanced diagnostic equipment and technology to identify vehicle issues accurately.
- Complete warranty, customer-pay, and internal repair orders efficiently and accurately.
- Maintain detailed documentation of all diagnostic procedures and repairs performed.
- Assist and mentor other technicians when needed.
- Perform quality control inspections to ensure repairs are completed correctly the first time.
- Stay current with manufacturer training, technical service bulletins, and emerging automotive technologies.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
- Adhere to all dealership policies, safety procedures, and compliance requirements.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of automotive repair experience preferred.
- ASE Master Certification preferred.
- Ford certifications and experience preferred but not required.
- Strong diagnostic and electrical troubleshooting skills.
- Experience working with scan tools, diagnostic software, and modern vehicle systems.
- Ability to repair gasoline, diesel, hybrid, and advanced vehicle systems.
- Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high-quality workmanship.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
