Duties
- Greet customers warmly and provide attentive, friendly service throughout their visit
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS
- Handle cash, credit card transactions, and process payments swiftly and accurately
- Assist in food preparation and food handling to ensure quality and safety standards are met
- Upsell menu items to enhance customer experience and increase sales opportunities
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of work areas, including bussing tables and food stations
- Support kitchen staff with basic food prep when needed, ensuring timely service during busy hours
Skills
- Proven experience in food service, quick service, or fast food environments with a strong understanding of restaurant operations
- Familiarity with POS systems like Aloha POS or Micros POS for efficient order processing and cashiering
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, energetic demeanor
- Ability to manage time effectively during high-volume periods while maintaining accuracy in cash handling and order taking
- Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures
- Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math, and calculating bills or change accurately
- Strong communication skills to collaborate with team members and serve customers effectively
