Duties

• Greet guests warmly upon arrival and assist with seating arrangements to ensure a smooth flow of service
• Serve food and drinks promptly while maintaining high standards of presentation and quality
• Process sales transactions efficiently, including cash handling and credit card payments
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in all service areas, including bussing tables and resetting for new guests
• Handle guest inquiries professionally, resolve issues promptly, and ensure guest satisfaction at all times

Skills

• Proven ability in food handling, sanitation practices, and food safety regulations
• Excellent customer service skills with a friendly and energetic demeanor
• Effective time management to handle multiple tables efficiently during busy hours
• Ability to upsell menu items confidently to maximize sales opportunities
• Previous restaurant experience in fine dining or high-volume environments preferred
• Basic math skills for processing transactions accurately and managing cash handling responsibilities
• Culinary experience or kitchen knowledge is a plus for better understanding of food preparation processes
• Strong guest relations skills with a focus on creating welcoming atmospheres and memorable experiences
