What are the responsibilities and job description for the Part-Time Barista / Record Store Associate position at Romeo Records & Cafe?
Romeo Records & Café is a locally owned coffee shop and vinyl record store looking for a dependable, friendly team member to join our growing team.
Please apply only if you meet ALL of the following requirements:
- Available 10–15 hours per week
- Available to work every Sunday
- Shift hours between 8 AM – 7 PM
- Fully available August 19 through September 1, with the ability to work up to 30 hours per week during that time

What You'll Do
- Craft espresso drinks, coffee, iced teas, refreshers, and other café beverages
- Deliver exceptional customer service
- Operate the Square POS system and handle cash/card transactions
- Help customers browse vinyl records and retail merchandise
- Restock products and keep displays looking great
- Maintain a clean café, retail area, and restrooms
- Open and close the store following company procedures
- Work both independently and as part of a team
We're Looking For Someone Who Is

- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
- Self-motivated and able to work independently
- Willing to clean and keep the shop looking its best
- Eager to learn about coffee and vinyl records
Previous barista, food service, or retail experience is a plus, but not required. We're happy to train someone with a positive attitude and a strong work ethic.
Physical Requirements
- Stand for extended periods
- Lift up to 30 pounds
- Perform cleaning and stocking duties throughout each shift
