What are the responsibilities and job description for the PARTS COUNTER position at ROMEO FORD OF SARATOGA LLC?
Romeo Auto Group is looking for someone to join our Parts team! We have a busy, fast-paced Parts Department and are looking for a motivated person with good attention to detail who wants a great career. We're looking for someone to work with customers and technicians to order and distribute parts for repair work to be completed. You must have an excellent eye for detail and a positive demeanor, and the ability to lift heavy boxes and walk up and down stairs.
Schedule: 8 hour shift Monday to Friday
Pay: $680–$720 weekly, with additional earning potential through monthly performance-based bonuses.
Job Type: Full-time
Parts experience is preferred, but we will train the right person with the right attitude! You'll be responsible for assisting technicians and customers with their parts needs. You MUST have a clean driving record, a valid driver's license, and the ability to lift boxes and climb stairs. Parts Counter Person Requirements:
Previous experience at a Ford or Subaru dealership is a plus
Ability to identify the problem quickly
Knowledge of automobiles
Effective analytical and communication skills
Strong reading, computer, and mathematics skills
Ability to learn new technology and repair and service procedures and specifications
Minimum of 1 year in parts department
Ability to lift 50 pounds and work on your feet for extended periods of time
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Basic computer skills
Positive, friendly attitude
High school diploma or equivalent
Experience with auto parts sales (preferred)
Ability to work in a fast-paced work environment
Strong organizational and time management skills
Detail-oriented, have a professional appearance and strong work ethic
