What are the responsibilities and job description for the Per Diem Registered Dietitian position at Rome Health?
Rome Health is seeking a Per Diem Registered Dietitian to join our amazing and talented Food and Nutrition staff. Candidate must understand Diet office procedures. Knowledge of dietetic principles and procedures. Ability to use appropriate criteria to plan nutritional care standards. Ability to provide nutritional counseling for patients and their families. Knowledge and ability to make appropriate entries in medical record. Knowledge and verbal ability to communicate dietetic practices , principles and theories to medical personnel. Knowledge of modified diets as well as dietary restrictions. Knowledge to address the needs of clients with various medical conditions.
Education: B.S. Degree in nutrition. Registration with A.N.D. ( R.D.)
Licenses: Registered Dietitian Required, CDN in NYS preferred/
Hours: As Needed.
