Rome GI is looking for a motivated Medical Assistant for our fast paced work environment. Candidate must have a positive attitude and excellent communication skills.

Tasks Include:
- Triage patients for office visits (vital signs, medication records, medical history)
- Give injections and draw labs
- Collect notes, x-rays, and labs from referring physician, PCP, or recent hospital visits
- Assist physicians during physical exams
- Answer incoming phone calls
- Follow-up on test and lab results
- Stock and clean exam rooms
- Provide other medical providers with records and results, as needed
- Request prior approvals for medications
- Manage hospital consults for on-call physician
- Scheduling
- 3 years' Medical Assistant experience required, preferably in Specialty Care
- Phlebotomy certification preferred
