ROMCO is currently seeking talented and driven Operations Manager to join the team supporting the Stephenville branch operations.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Manage proper receiving and processing new and used equipment utilizing digital forms and inspecting
- Ordering and processing parts for service orders
- Maintain parts processing and filing of invoices and other documents
- Purchasing and expediting parts and materials
- Inventory warranty parts holding location and follow procedures for warranty parts return and processing
- Reconcile invoices and purchases for service departments
- Recieve service calls and keep constant communication during repair process to customers
- Efficiently manage service to techs to best serve our customer’s needs
- Prepare estimates for internal/customers service orders
- Ensure rental & sale units are ready to ROMCO’S standards
- Communicate with Sales Coordinators of machine readiness
- Keep constant communication with Product Support Manager on open service orders
- Managing yard, Keeping organized, Clean Per Rental Fleet Kaizen
- Perform duties per ROMCO SOP.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILL, and ABILITY REQUIREMENTS:
- Highly skilled in clerical duties such as typing, filing, data entry, e-mail, fax, etc.
- Ability to organize and prioritize tasks
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Developed interpersonal and customer service skills
- Exceptional attention to detail and follow-up
- Ability to work with various levels of positions, customers, and vendors
- Broad knowledge of construction machinery
RQUIREMENTS:
- High School Diploma or equivalent required
- Construction equipment experience is preferred, but not required
- Experience utilizing all applications of Microsoft Office Suite, with concentration on advanced Excel skills
- Experience with CR2 database preferred
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee must be alert and is regularly required to talk or hear. The employee frequently is required to stand, walk, use hands to fingers, handle or feel; and reach with hands and arms. The employee is occasionally required to sit; climb or balance; and stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. WORKING CONDITIONS AND ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
This job operates in a predominately office environment with some outdoor requirements. Hours are from 8:00am to 5:00pm with occasional needs outside standard business hours to accommodate meetings, training, projects, and afterhours calls. Some travel may be required in this position. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally exposed to fumes or airborne particles, moving mechanical parts and vibration. The noise level in the work environment can be loud.
