JOB SUMMARY
Receives, inventories, and dispatches rolled carpet goods and supplies based on daily production schedule in most cases by operating a forklift. The position reports to a Site Operations Manager.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Retrieves supplies and materials by studying daily pull tickets; locating and verifying correct materials; secures carpet rolls on truck; moves rolls via forklift to storage location.
- Maintains inventory of supply products by anticipating and tracking usage.
- Monitors inventory by reporting discrepancies.
- Clears storage area by securing and moving carpet rolls to storage location;
- Moving furniture at customer's homes (when applicable)
- Standing/driving
- Tear out of existing material (when applicable)
- Documents actions by logging movement of supplies, materials, and carpet rolls.
- Maintains safe work environment by watching out for foot traffic; following standards and procedures; complying with legal regulations.
- Keeps forklift operating by following operating instructions; troubleshooting breakdowns; maintaining supplies; performing preventive maintenance; calling for repairs.
- Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities.
- Accomplishes warehousing and organization mission by completing related tasks as needed.
- Provides supplementary phone coverage during breaks and down time for office staff.
- Attend training as directed by local manager and support teams
- Other duties as assigned
- Performs customer service duties as necessary including: scheduling, Dialpad communications, and resulting jobs.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- Must be eighteen years of age or older.
- Must be willing to submit to a background check.
- Must be able to submit proof of employment eligibility.
- Able to life 75 lbs.– 100 lbs.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Previous experience in warehouse, construction, distribution, logistics, or customer service
- Forklift Certification/License
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Strong customer service skills, ability to provide a positive and professional experience
