Investor Relations Manager – Capital Raising Focus
Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Investor Relations Manager with a proven track record in investment sales and capital raising. This individual will focus on cultivating relationships with high-net-worth individuals and serving as an ambassador for the Romano Capital brand. The role combines relationship management, fundraising, and consultative sales, requiring deep knowledge of private real estate investments and the ability to clearly articulate our strategies to sophisticated investors.
Key Responsibilities
Capital Raising
· Actively source, develop, and close new investor relationships through both new marketing-sourced leads and providing world-class service to current clients as well as through networking and referrals.
· Build and manage a pipeline of prospective investors with consistent follow-up and engagement.
· Present investment offerings in one-on-one meetings, phone calls, and investor events.
Investor Relationship Management
· Maintain and grow relationships with existing investors to encourage repeat commitments.
· Serve as a trusted advisor, educating investors on deal structures, performance, and market trends.
· Coordinate ongoing investor communication including performance updates and market commentary.
Collaboration & Reporting
· Partner with marketing to refine messaging, campaigns, and materials that resonate with target investors.
· Partner with Investments to provide input and feedback on offerings, cash flow needs, and other offering-related topics.
· Track activity, pipeline, and results in CRM for leadership reporting.
· Provide market feedback and investor insights to inform capital strategy.
Qualifications
· 5 years of experience in investment sales, private placements, or capital raising (real estate, private equity, alternatives preferred).
· Proven track record of raising capital from accredited investors.
· Strong presentation, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
· Knowledge of real estate investment structures, private equity, and/or debt funds.
· Bachelor’s degree.
· Entrepreneurial, self-driven, and motivated by results.
Compensation
· Base Salary: $125,000 – $150,000 depending on experience.
· Bonus: Significant performance upside based upon successful goal attainment.
On-Target Earnings (OTE): With solid performance, total comp could realistically reach $200,000-$250,000 annually.
