About Romano Capital
Romano Capital is a fast-growing real estate investment firm with a strong focus on the Clark County, WA market. As we expand, we are seeking a Director of Marketing to lead and elevate our entire marketing function. This role is ideal for a well-rounded marketing leader who can think holistically about brand, messaging, and growth—while building a disciplined, high-performing marketing engine.
Role Overview
As Director of Marketing, you will own the strategy and execution of Romano Capital’s full marketing function. This includes brand, positioning, product marketing, content, investor communications, events, and growth initiatives.
This role is centered on building a cohesive, high-impact marketing system—ensuring that every touchpoint, from first impression to long-term investor relationship, reflects a clear and compelling story.
You will lead a small but growing team, set priorities across channels, and partner closely with leadership to align marketing with business objectives. This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who can operate both strategically and tactically, and who is comfortable building structure in a fast-moving environment.
JOB DESCRIPTION
Duties / Responsibilities
Marketing Strategy & Leadership
- Own and drive the overall marketing strategy, ensuring alignment with company goals, growth targets, and market positioning.
- Establish a clear, differentiated brand and messaging platform that resonates with investors and partners.
- Allocate resources and prioritize initiatives across channels (digital, events, content, PR, etc.) to maximize impact.
Brand & Positioning
- Lead the development and stewardship of the Romano Capital brand across all touchpoints.
- Ensure consistency in voice, messaging, and visual identity across investor materials, website, presentations, and communications.
- Continuously refine positioning to reflect the firm’s strategy, track record, and market opportunity.
Product Marketing & Investor Communications
- Partner with Investments and Development teams to translate offerings into clear, compelling narratives.
- Develop go-to-market strategies for new investment opportunities, including messaging, materials, and launch plans.
- Oversee investor-facing content including decks, updates, newsletters, and reporting materials.
Content, Events & Channel Execution
- Oversee development of high-quality content across formats (written, visual, video, and experiential).
- Lead planning and execution of investor events, presentations, and brand experiences.
- Ensure all marketing channels work together cohesively to support the broader strategy.
Growth & Demand Generation
- Oversee user acquisition and demand generation efforts across channels, including digital marketing.
- Manage internal or external specialists responsible for paid media, lifecycle marketing, and performance optimization.
- Ensure disciplined tracking of performance metrics (CAC, LTV, conversion), using insights to inform broader strategy—not just channel optimization.
Team Leadership & Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Lead and mentor a small marketing team (currently 1 direct report), with responsibility for hiring as the function grows.
- Foster a culture of accountability, creativity, and continuous improvement.
- Work closely with Investor Relations and Executive leadership to ensure alignment across messaging and priorities.
Marketing Operations & Infrastructure
- Build and refine marketing processes, workflows, and systems to support scalability.
- Establish clear reporting and analytics to measure effectiveness across all marketing efforts.
- Manage budgets and external partners to ensure efficient use of resources.
Key Qualifications
Experience
- 7 years of experience in marketing, with exposure across multiple disciplines (brand, digital, product marketing, content, growth, etc.).
- Demonstrated ability to lead and execute integrated marketing strategies—not just individual channels.
- Experience overseeing or collaborating with digital marketing functions (paid media, lifecycle, analytics), without needing to be the primary operator.
- Background in real estate, private equity, financial services, or other high-consideration purchase environments is not required but is a strong plus.

- Strong strategic thinking with the ability to translate business objectives into clear marketing priorities.
- Ability to synthesize complex offerings into simple, compelling messaging.
- Experience building and managing brands with a high level of credibility and trust.
- Strong communication skills across written, visual, and verbal formats.

Compensation
Annual salary of $120,000 - $150,000 depending on qualifications.
