Overview
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Painter to join our dynamic construction and renovation team. In this role, you will be responsible for transforming spaces through expert painting techniques, ensuring high-quality finishes on residential, commercial, and industrial projects. Your expertise will help bring visions to life by applying paint, coatings, and finishes with precision and care. Responsibilities

• Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, plastering, caulking, and applying primer to ensure optimal paint adhesion.
• Apply paints, stains, varnishes, and other coatings using hand tools such as brushes, rollers, spray guns (including airless paint spraying), and power tools.
• Read blueprints, schematics, and construction drawings to determine project scope and specifications.
• Perform residential and commercial painting tasks with attention to detail, including trim carpentry, fixture installation, and restoration work.
• Use construction estimating skills to assess materials needed for each project accurately.
• Execute renovation projects involving stucco, masonry, drywall finishing, framing carpentry, and concrete finishing.
• Maintain safety standards on construction sites by properly handling tools like scaffolding, welding equipment, and other hand tools while adhering to site protocols.
• Collaborate with team members such as carpenters and masons to ensure seamless project execution.
• Assist with maintenance tasks around the site that may include handyman repairs or basic carpentry.
• Document project progress through detailed reports and communicate effectively with supervisors regarding project timelines and challenges.

Experience

• Proven experience in construction painting across residential, commercial, or industrial settings.
• Strong knowledge of color theory and surface preparation techniques.
• Hands-on experience with hand tools, power tools, airless paint spraying equipment, and scaffolding setup.
• Familiarity with blueprint reading and schematics for accurate project execution.
• Background in plastering, stucco application, masonry work, or restoration projects is highly desirable.
• Experience working on construction sites with a focus on safety protocols is essential.
• Basic math skills for measuring surfaces and calculating material quantities are required.
• Additional skills in carpentry—including trim carpentry and frame work—are a plus.
