Responsibilities
- Perform professional massage therapy sessions including Swedish, deep tissue, trigger point therapy, sports massage, prenatal massage, and occupational health treatments.
- Conduct thorough patient assessments to understand individual needs and develop tailored treatment plans.
- Apply advanced knowledge of physiology and anatomy to ensure safe and effective therapy techniques.
- Communicate clearly with clients about their treatment options, progress, and post-session care instructions.
- Maintain detailed records of each session, including client feedback and treatment outcomes.
- Ensure compliance with all licensing regulations, health & safety standards, including CPR certification.
- Provide excellent patient service by creating a welcoming environment and addressing client concerns promptly.
Experience
- Valid state licensure as a Massage Therapist with current licensing credentials.
- Proven experience in massage therapy with a strong background in Swedish massage, deep tissue massage, trigger point therapy, sports massage, prenatal massage, and medical or occupational health settings.
- Knowledge of medical terminology related to pain management and physiology to enhance treatment effectiveness.
- Demonstrated ability to assess patient needs accurately through client communication and physical evaluation.
- Experience working in med spas or similar healthcare environments is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with customer service principles to ensure an exceptional client experience.
- CPR certification is required; additional certifications in specialized techniques such as sports or trigger point therapy are a plus.

Pay: $30.00 - $44.50 per hour
