Position Type: Full-Time

Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM

Pay Range: $19 – $22/hour

Location: Based out of Newark, NJ; travel throughout New Jersey (company vehicle provided)

Position Overview

This role is a critical part of field operations, ensuring job sites are properly prepared ahead of underground utility work. By coordinating and posting required “No Parking” signage, this position directly impacts whether projects can begin on time and without disruption.

This role requires strong time management, communication, and reliability, as proper posting is essential to preventing delays caused by obstructed work zones.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily with office staff and field crews to confirm posting locations, timing, and requirements
• Plan and execute efficient routes to ensure all signage is posted within required notice periods
• Install “No Parking” signage in compliance with municipal guidelines and company standards
• Verify signage visibility and placement to ensure effectiveness in clearing work zones
• Maintain accurate records of posted locations and dates
• Communicate proactively regarding any challenges, conflicts, or delays
• Travel throughout New Jersey to support multiple active job sites
• Provide light operational support as needed (material pickups, deliveries, etc.)

Physical & Work Environment

This is a highly active, field-based role that requires regular walking throughout the day across multiple job locations. Responsibilities often involve covering several blocks or work areas to complete postings.

Work is performed outdoors in a variety of weather conditions, so candidates should be comfortable with a physically active role that involves consistent movement rather than desk-based tasks.

Qualifications

• Strong time management and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently and manage daily responsibilities with minimal supervision

• Comfortable navigating different locations and adjusting to changing priorities

Requirements

• Valid driver’s license with a clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR)
• Ability to pass a drug screening
• Ability to safely operate a company pickup truck
• Willingness to travel throughout New Jersey
