Church of the Epiphany is seeking a passionate, full-time Youth Minister to lead our Life Teen (high school), Edge (middle school) and Confirmation programs. We are a vibrant community rooted in four essential pillars: Liturgy, Formation, Community, and Outreach.
Position Overview
The Youth Minister will direct and execute our comprehensive youth ministry utilizing the Life Teen and Edge models. This role focuses on evangelization, relational ministry, and helping middle and high school students navigate their faith in modern culture. This position reports directly to the Director of Religious Education.
Primary Responsibilities
- Curriculum Implementation: Adapt and deliver engaging Life Nights and Edge Nights using the Life Teen and Edge curriculum frameworks.
- Relational Ministry: Accompany youth through mentoring, intentional discipleship, and being a visible witness of the Gospel.
- Core Team Mobilization: Recruit, train, and form a strong "Core Team" of adult volunteers to facilitate small groups.
- Sacramental Prep: Lead Confirmation preparation and youth liturgies.
- Retreats & Events: Lead teens to Steubenville Conferences, summer camps, local retreats, and service projects.
- Family Engagement: Partner closely with parents, providing resources to help them continue faith conversations at home.
- Administration: Manage the youth ministry budget, safety compliance, and Life Teen/Edge digital resource platforms.
