Holy Trinity Catholic Church is seeking an experienced and faith-filled person to serve as our pastor’s executive assistant.
Holy Trinity, a 230 year-old Jesuit parish and school in Georgetown, Washington, DC, is seeking a creative and energetic individual to join our pastoral staff. The incumbent’s primary role is to support our busy pastor; manage his calendar, office and files, acting with considerable individual discretion and judgment. She/he reports to the pastor but works closely with Holy Trinity directors.
The successful candidate will be an active member of a Roman Catholic parish (preference given to Holy Trinity parishioners), at least one year of experience supporting a principal/executive, and have an appropriate bachelor’s degree (substitutable by additional experience). She/he should be committed to the mission of Holy Trinity, able to connect and communicate with others, skilled in basic office software and adept at multitasking and customer service.
In addition to supporting the pastor and his events, this person organizes a number of large events during the year and provides logistical support to several parish life groups in the parish. The incumbent supervises the receptionists and organizes staff events and parties. Provides limited assistance to the managing director.
