What are the responsibilities and job description for the Shipping Technician II position at Romac Industries, Inc.?
We’re looking for motivated team players to join our warehouse crew! You’ll help keep things moving by loading and unloading trucks, fulfilling orders with accuracy, and handling materials safely. You’ll also get hands-on experience with banding/shrink wrap machines, forklifts, and electronic tracking devices. Attention to detail, teamwork, and safety are key—and while prior warehouse experience and forklift certification are a plus, they’re not required. What You’ll Do
- Pick up/pull, transport, and deliver products and supplies between Receiving, Departments, and Shipping/Warehouse.
- Perform a variety of duties based on advanced product recognition and understanding of other production departments’ processes.
- Pull product from dispatch and check sales orders.
- Package product for shipment.
- Perform Oracle basic transactions.
- One year of forklift experience
- Advanced product recognition
- Certifications for all applicable equipment, which may include Forklift, Reach Truck, Order Picker, and Fall Protection
- Basic Oracle/handheld skills
