Position Overview: ROMTech’s PortableConnect platform provides post-surgical at-home rehabilitation for patients undergoing orthopedic surgery. The PortableConnect device is the only adaptive rehabilitation technology that increases the patient’s post-surgical range of motion rapidly and effectively. Along with this technology, ROMTech monitors all patients’ treatment plans to ensure adherence and effectiveness of the at-home treatment plan prescribed by their surgeon.

We are now looking for an experienced and highly organized Patient Monitoring Coordinator to join our growing Clinical Services team. The Patient Monitoring Coordinator provides both synchronous and asynchronous monitoring of rehabilitation treatment plan performance, to ensure patients are following their treatment plans while optimizing their experience on the PortableConnect.

Responsibilities:

  • Monitor treatment plan performance for multiple patients at a time.
  • Foster positive relationships with patients to encourage compliance with treatment plan, monitoring protocols, and promote patient satisfaction.
  • Connect and communicate with patients regarding their progress and establish a baseline for treatment plan satisfaction.
  • Monitor incoming patient data and alerts, prioritize, and escalate issues as necessary.
  • Generate reports on patient progress and outcomes.
  • Validate Treatment Monitoring Plans.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement and contribute to the development of best practices.

Requirements:

  • 5 years of clinical patient-facing or telehealth experience, preferably in a coordination or support role.
  • Proficiency in using telemetry monitoring equipment and related software applications.
  • Solid understanding of medical terminology and musculoskeletal anatomy.
  • Strong analytical skills to interpret patient data and recognize deviations from normal ranges.
  • Effective communication skills to collaborate with healthcare providers and team members.
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks while maintaining a high level of accuracy.
  • Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) and remote patient monitoring platforms.
  • Familiarity with HIPAA regulations and maintaining patient confidentiality.
  • Must meet the Qualified Healthcare Provider requirements, per CMS guidelines. This includes but is not limited to the following professional certifications/degrees:
  • Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW)Physical Therapist (PT)
  • Occupational Therapist (OT)
  • Nurse Practitioner (NP)
  • Certified Nurse Specialist (CNS)
  • Physician Assistant (PA)
  • Certified Nurse Midwife (CNM)
  • Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA)
