What are the responsibilities and job description for the Customer Service Specialist position at ROM TECHNOLOGIES INC?
Responsibilities:
• Serve as the primary point of contact for patients, clinics, and healthcare providers regarding product orders, service issues, and account inquiries.
• Educate patients and customers on medical products, usage guidelines, and delivery timelines.
• Support the sales team with order processing, tracking, and follow-up communication.
• Manage inbound and outbound calls, emails, and messages with professionalism and urgency.
• Resolve customer concerns effectively while maintaining compliance with HIPAA and company policies.
• Document all interactions and maintain accurate records in CRM or EMR systems.
• Collaborate with internal teams (sales, logistics, billing) to ensure a seamless customer experience.
• Monitor open orders, backorders, and follow up to ensure timely fulfillment.
Skills & Abilities
• Fluent in Spanish preferred but not required
• Experience in handling inquiries across multiple channels including phone calls, live chats, and emails
Work Experience Requirements
• 2 year of customer service or dispatching experience

Physical Demands and Working Conditions:
• Ability to sit at a computer terminal for an extended period.
• Moderate noise (i.e., phone calls, online meetings, computer audio)
