We at RollShield are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Collection Legal Assistant/Paralegal to join our team! This role will focus on working closely with our attorneys to recover outstanding debts and ensure our receivables are efficiently managed. You will provide overall support to our off-site corporate attorney by sending him the necessary paperwork that needs to be filed for lawsuits and liens. Your primary goal is to collect money that is owed to us by our residential customers.

Responsibilities:
- Assist attorneys in debt collection effort by sending them the necessary paperwork for collections and lawsuits.
- Investigate facts to help in the negotiation of legal disputes
- Investigate facts to help with collections
- Communicate with our attorney and customers
- Record and store client information
- Monitor accounts and follow up on overdue payments
- Maintain accurate records of collection activities
- Support legal compliance and documentation procedures
- Prepare and review legal documents related to collections
- Previous experience in collections, legal support, or paralegal roles preferred
- Strong communication, written and negotiation skills
- Knowledge of debt collection laws and regulations is a plus
- Organized, detail-oriented, and able to handle sensitive information
- Previous experience as a paralegal or another legal field
- Ability to prioritize and multitask and deadline-oriented
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
