Position Location: Machesney Park, Illinois
Position Summary:
As a Quality Technician based in the Machesney Park, Illinois area, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the highest standards of product quality at our third-party enclosure vendor sites. You will be responsible for conducting inspections at various stages, including receiving, storage, pre-production, and final audits. Your keen eye for detail will help identify and address quality concerns, ensuring that our products meet the exceptional standards associated with the Rolls-Royce brand.
Basic Requirements:
- Applicants must be authorized to work for any employer in the U.S without sponsorship. We are unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of an employment Visa at this time.
- 2 years in a mechanical, engine or automotive trade school or equivalent associate degree and 2 years of quality inspection experience in a durable goods assembly or manufacturing environment; or 5 years of quality inspection experience in a durable goods assembly or manufacturing environment
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in the use of hand tools, torque wrenches.
- Ability to follow instructions to identify non-conformances
- Ability to read drawings and specifications (mechanical and electrical).
- Strong knowledge of parts and equipment in a manufacturing environment with large equipment.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interface effectively at all levels of the organization
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Basic knowledge of using measuring equipment.
- Proficient with PC and MS Office Suite
- Familiar with plant operations and equipment
- Knowledge of RRPS components and products
- Knowledge of gauge and test equipment
- Knowledge of RRPS components and products

Pay Range:
$26.01 - $39.01-Hourly
