What are the responsibilities and job description for the RN OB Labor Nights (3169) position at ROLLING PLAINS MEMORIAL HOSPITAL?
Demonstrates a working knowledge of the postpartum and nursery nursing process, performs prompt assessment, forms plan of care, implements actions, and evaluates appropriately for the postpartum/nursery patients. Provides care for neonates and female patients of childbearing age.
Qualifications:Graduate of an accredited school of nursing. Maintains current RN license with Texas State Board of Nurse Examiners. Six months minimal clincal experience, perinatal preferred. Successful completion of Neonatal Resuscitation and ACLS course within one year of hire. Must maintain current BLS. Obtain 6 hours of breastfeeding education within one year and 20 hours of continuing education annually.
