What are the responsibilities and job description for the Family Nurse Practitioner (1889) position at ROLLING PLAINS MEMORIAL HOSPITAL?
Responsible for the delivery of primary medical care to a wide variety of patients, maintaining accurate and current patient records and scheduling and administering follow up appointments to patients as required. The FNP will work as a team with physicians and nurses and will assist in delivering premium care to each patient.
Supervises: LVN, Scribe, CMA
Qualifications:Must have a master's degree in nursing, a valid advanced nurse practitioner license and 2 years nursing experience. Must have the ability to work within a team and take direction. Must be familiar with the EHR medical charting system. Strong written and interpersonal communication skills and the ability to develop and refine procedures are necessary as well as the ability to maintain effective reporting procedures and control workflow. Must maintain current CPR certification.
