Global Sourcing & Supplier Relations Specialist
Location: New York, NY (On-site)
Salary Range: $70,000–$90,000 USD
Rolling Pin Snacks is seeking a Global Sourcing & Supplier Relations Specialist to lead relationships with our manufacturing and ingredient partners worldwide. You’ll negotiate pricing, manage supplier performance, and travel to factories and trade shows to ensure top quality and reliability. Ideal candidates have 5 years of sourcing or vendor management experience in food or CPG.
About the Role
Rolling Pin Snacks is hiring a Global Sourcing & Supplier Relations Specialist to manage and strengthen relationships with our global manufacturing and ingredient partners. You’ll oversee supplier onboarding, pricing negotiations, material sourcing, and delivery coordination to ensure every Rolling Pin product meets our quality and consistency standards. The role involves direct communication with factories, both domestic and international, and occasional travel to partner sites and trade shows.
What You’ll Do
- Serve as the primary contact for all manufacturing and supplier partners.
- Negotiate pricing, lead times, and terms to achieve cost and margin targets.
- Coordinate purchase orders, shipments, and delivery schedules.
- Visit partner factories to assess quality, efficiency, and compliance.
- Identify, qualify, and onboard new suppliers for ingredients, packaging, and materials.
- Evaluate samples and production capabilities to ensure alignment with brand standards.
- Maintain detailed supplier records, pricing logs, and performance reports.
- Collaborate with R&D and Operations on new product launches and sourcing initiatives.
- Represent Rolling Pin Snacks at trade shows and supplier meetings.
What We’re Looking For
- 5 years of experience in sourcing, vendor management, or contract manufacturing (food or CPG strongly preferred).
- Proven success in negotiating with suppliers and maintaining strong factory partnerships.
- Solid understanding of supply chain operations, cost analysis, and international logistics.
- Excellent communication, follow-up, and organizational skills.
- Self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.
- Willingness to travel domestically and internationally as needed.
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, or a related field.
