Full-Time Maintenance Technician
We are seeking a reliable, hardworking Full-Time Maintenance Technician to join our
team at a mobile home community in Battle Creek, Michigan. The ideal candidate will be a
team player with experience in property maintenance, home repairs, and grounds
maintenance.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 years of maintenance experience preferred.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Valid driver's license, good driving record and reliable transportation.
- Basic knowledge of residential and/or commercial property maintenance.
- Ability to safely operate common hand and power tools, including drills, hammers,
saws, and other maintenance equipment.
- Strong work ethics, dependability, and attention to detail.
- Ability to follow directions from the Community Manager and work well as part of a
team.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Clean background.
- Ability to pass drug screening.
- The ability and willingness to go under a mobile home to do repairs and check heat
tape.
Responsibilities
- Perform general maintenance and repairs on homes and community property.
- Complete basic carpentry, plumbing, painting, and other repair tasks.
- Prepare homes for new residents.
- Maintain community grounds, including mowing, trimming, and seasonal
landscaping.
- Perform snow plowing and snow removal during winter months.
- Respond promptly to maintenance requests.
- Assist with other maintenance projects as assigned.
Compensation & Benefits
- $16.00–$25.00 per hour, based on experience and skill level.
