Job Summary
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Childcare Provider to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for working with children and the ability to create a nurturing and educational environment. This role involves caring for infants, toddlers, and preschool-aged children, ensuring their safety, well-being, and development through engaging activities and structured routines.
Responsibilities
- Provide attentive care to children in a safe and nurturing environment.
- Plan and implement age-appropriate educational activities that promote childhood development.
- Assist with daily routines including feeding, diaper changing, and nap times for infants and toddlers.
- Supervise playtime, encouraging social interaction and positive behavior management among children.
- Communicate effectively with parents regarding their child's progress and any concerns.
- Maintain a clean and organized childcare space, ensuring all materials are safe and accessible.
- Support children with disabilities by adapting activities to meet their individual needs.
- Foster an atmosphere of learning through teaching basic skills such as numbers, letters, colors, and shapes.
Experience
- Previous experience in childcare settings such as daycare centers, preschools, or as a nanny is preferred.
- Familiarity with early childhood education principles is highly desirable.
- Experience working with children of various ages including infants, toddlers, and preschoolers.
- Knowledge of first aid procedures is essential; certification is a plus.
- Background in behavior management techniques to support positive interactions among children.
- Understanding of childhood development milestones to effectively nurture growth in young children.
- CPR TRAINED or willing to get certified
- Tb test required
- Daycare training required
- Must be 18 years or older

- Must have reliable transportation
- Not able to work with other work schedules at this time
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: From $13.73 per hour
Expected hours: 20 – 30 per week
