As a Driver Recruiter, you will be the first point of contact for prospective CDL drivers. You will play a critical role in identifying, attracting, and onboarding top-tier regional and local drivers who align with our safety standards and culture. This is an in-office position that requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and a passion for people.
Key Responsibilities:
- Source and screen qualified CDL A driver candidates through job boards, social media, referrals, and other channels
- Manage the full recruitment process: posting jobs, conducting interviews, running background checks, and facilitating pre-employment requirements
- Maintain accurate records in applicant tracking systems
- Build strong relationships with drivers from first contact through orientation and beyond
- Coordinate with Safety and Operations departments to ensure smooth onboarding
- Monitor industry trends to keep recruiting strategies competitive
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in trucking, recruiting, or logistics (preferred)
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Comfortable using recruiting platforms, email, and ATS tools
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
- Knowledge of DOT regulations is a plus
