The Store Manager is responsible for achieving store sales and maximizing profitability through effective management of store team and implementation of company policies. The Store Manager serves as the ultimate leader of their store, developing and motivating the entire staff to provide a superior level of customer service that will drive sales, productivity, and results.

SALES GENERATION/CLIENT EXPERIENCE

• Meet, and exceed personal and store sales goals
• Analyze selling and sales reports to determine the needs of the store
• Set individual sales goals for team and follow-up daily on performance
• Motivate sales staff to meet sales goals
• Support the development of associates’ selling techniques
• Consistently interact and lead on the sales floor with staff and clients
• Demonstrate sales leadership for staff by role playing
• Develop store events for clients to grow the store’s client base
• Ensure staff is creating the ultimate client experience on sales floor and in fitting room areas
• Build and maintain repeat clientele by utilizing personal client book and assisting staff with utilizing their client books
• Resolve all client problems and complaints quickly and effectively

OPERATIONS

• Ensure all maintenance issues are communicated in a timely manner
• Control monthly petty cash spending
• Schedule associates to maintain adequate floor coverage while maintaining payroll costs
• Ensure shipment deliveries are properly processed in a timely manner
• Meet inventory accuracy and shrink requirements using inventory reports/cycle counts
• Ensure staff is trained in all areas of operations
• Build and maintain good communication with members of corporate
• Understand and properly execute all register functions
• Conduct yearly inventory and weekly inventory reports
• Follow and enforce all company policies and procedures
• Enforce cash control procedures including: bank deposits, safe funds, and petty cash
• Ensure all weekly/monthly paperwork is submitted on time to corporate
• Meet corporate deadlines

MERCHANDISING/VISUAL MERCHANDISING

• Implement and maintain all merchandising directives and ensure execution of effective merchandising strategies
• Work and effectively communicate with the Corporate Visual Merchandising team
• Ensure selling floor is neat, clean, and organized and reflect the brands image
• Ensure shipment deliveries are properly processed in a timely manner
• Identify and communicate product concerns in a timely manner
• Communicate inventory needs to support the business goals

HUMAN RESOURCES

• Recruit, train, and develop staff
• Ensure all open positions are filled in a timely manner
• Conduct annual performance reviews with staff
• Resolve all human resource issues in a timely manner
• Ensure wardrobe policy is properly implemented and followed
• Ensure payroll and employee paperwork is accurate and submitted on time.

QUALIFIONS

• Must have at least 3-5 years of retail management experience
• Strong leadership skills
• Must be able to work in fast pace environment with sense of urgency
• Ability to adapt quickly to the brands culture
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Basic knowledge of fashion and interior design
• Must have excellent written and verbal
• Ability to use Microsoft Office programs
• Must be able to lift 20-25 pounds
• Must have a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays
