Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and skilled Painter II to join our vibrant team, dedicated to transforming spaces through expert painting and finishing techniques. As a Painter II, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality residential, commercial, and industrial painting projects. Your expertise will ensure surfaces are beautifully coated, properly prepared, and meticulously finished, contributing to the aesthetic and functional excellence of each project. Responsibilities

• Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, plastering, caulking, and applying primers to ensure optimal paint adhesion and finish quality
• Execute painting tasks using various tools including brushes, rollers, airless paint sprayers, power tools, and scaffolding to achieve smooth, durable coatings
• Read blueprints and schematics to accurately determine project scope, measurements, and color schemes based on color theory principles
• Perform trim carpentry, drywall finishing, stucco application, masonry work, and fixture installation as needed for comprehensive project completion
• Apply industrial and construction-specific paints on diverse surfaces such as metal, concrete, wood, and masonry in both interior and exterior environments
• Conduct surface preparation activities like concrete finishing and restoration work to ensure long-lasting results
• Utilize basic math skills for measurements and calculations; operate hand tools safely; maintain equipment including welding tools when necessary
• Assist with renovation projects by supporting carpentry tasks such as framing and remodeling; perform maintenance person duties as required
• Follow safety protocols on construction sites; read schematics; coordinate with team members to ensure seamless project flow

Experience

• Proven experience in residential painting with a strong understanding of color theory and surface preparation techniques
• Hands-on experience with commercial and industrial painting projects across construction sites
• Familiarity with blueprint reading, schematics interpretation, and construction estimating processes
• Skilled in using hand tools, power tools, airless paint spraying equipment, scaffolding setup, welding tools, and other relevant machinery
• Knowledge of plastering, caulking, trim carpentry, stucco application, masonry work, concrete finishing and restoration techniques
• Prior involvement in renovation projects including fixture installation and remodeling efforts
• Demonstrated ability to work efficiently in fast-paced construction environments while maintaining high-quality standards

Pay: $23.97 - $28.87 per hour

Expected hours: 20.0 – 60.0 per week
