What are the responsibilities and job description for the Label Rewinder position at Roll Flex Label Company?
Roll Flex Label Company is seeking a driven, detail oriented candidate to serve as a label rewinder. Printing/Label experience is preferred, but all equipment training will be provided by employer. The successful candidate must be reliable, well organized and able to operate and maintain label slitter/rewinder. Candidates must also work quickly and efficiently in a fast paced environment. Candidates will be responsible for boxing label rolls, wrapping pallets, and receiving shipments. Must be computer proficient (UPS Worldship) and perform other duties as assigned.
Responsibilities:
- Operate label rewinder and slitting machine proficiently
- Inspect labels for quality, accuracy, and consistency
- Monitor rewinder and slitter machines and troubleshoot as needed
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Follow all safety protocols and guidelines while operating machinery
- Assist with other warehouse duties as assigned
Experience:
- Previous experience operating label equipment is preferred
- Familiarity with warehouse operations and procedures
- Ability to use basic hand tools for minor adjustments and repairs
- Basic math skills for measuring and calculating quantities
Skills:
- Proficiency in operating pallet jacks or forklifts to move packages as needed
- Strong attention to detail and quality control
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong organizational skills to manage labeling tasks efficiently
