Rentals Field Manager

Rolfson Oil, LLC is a growing fuel supply and logistics company focused on the fueling needs of the oil and natural gas industry. Since 1985 Rolfson Oil has delivered bulk fuel and lubricants to business, agriculture, and the oil field in North Dakota, Texas, New Mexico, Wyoming, and Colorado. Our operations have expanded over the past year, growing from one to seven different U.S. basins during that time.

We are looking for a hands-on Rentals Field Manager to perform a variety of administrative and lead tasks that support the Odessa Rentals Department. The ideal candidate should have strong communication skills, excellent organization, time management, be a problem solver and critical thinker, as well as a multitasker. The preferred candidate would have industry experience. If you have previous experience that closely fits this role, or are familiar with our industry, we’d like to meet you.

Position Description—This position includes, but is not limited to, the following: 

• Ensure effective equipment and employee utilization 

• Prep equipment, monitor loading and unloading activities, and address employee questions  

• Prioritize tasks, problem-solve operational issues 

• Meet deadlines to support smooth and efficient daily operations 

• Workflow of carrying out rental priorities set by supervisor  

• Manage technicians at the rental facility, scheduling their tasks and ensuring efficient operations 

• Set objectives for technicians and monitor performance; if objectives are not met or performance concerns arise, work closely with Management and HR to discipline the employee(s) 

• Work closely with the procurement team to order necessary parts and manage inventory levels effectively 

• Collaborate with technicians to inspect equipment prior to green tagging equipment 

• Maintain a clean and organized yard and shop environment 

• Other duties and projects assigned

Requirements: 

• 1-2 years of prior relevant experience preferred
• Must have strong communication skills (written and verbal)
• Proficiency in MS Office 
• Oilfield and or industry experience preferred
• Extremely detailed oriented
• Strength in professionalism and customer service skills
• Ability to multi-task in a very fast paced environment
• Exceptionally organized
• Proficient computer skills
• Pass drug test and criminal background check
