Wheel Builder and Rim Builder
We are a high-end bicycle rim and wheel manufacturer and we are looking to add a wheel builder / rim builder to our team. We are a group of cyclists and this is an opportunity to work for a tech-focused, premium brand with a proven 25-year history located in one of the finest riding centers on earth. Machine work and wheel building experience is not required however we are looking for someone who uses bikes frequently and has a demonstrated mechanical aptitude. This is a full-time, in-house position in Eugene, Oregon with competitive pay and benefits package.
If you have wanted to get into the bike business, this is a good opportunity to learn one of its arts.
This position will:
- Lace, build, decal and ship wheels and rims. We will teach you this art.
- Help manufacture aluminum bicycle rims. We are one of few companies in the USA who do this.
- Learn new production techniques and have the opportunity to help us improve what we do. We are open to new ideas
- Cycling experience and interest required. Bicycle business experience a plus.
Details:
- Work week is Mon - Fri, 8-4:30 with 2x paid 10min breaks and 30 min for lunch. Time of lunch and breaks is flexible

- Work involves being on your feet. Some stations during the day have an option for working while seated but some stations do not
