About the Role
Ascent Hospitality is seeking an energetic, strategic, and results-driven Area Director of Sales to lead sales efforts for our three Gulfport, MS hotels : Hampton Inn, SpringHill Suites, and Home2 Suites.
This is an exciting opportunity for a relationship builder and sales leader who can develop new business, strengthen key accounts, increase group and corporate demand, and drive revenue across multiple properties.

What You Will Do
• Lead and execute sales strategies across all three Gulfport properties.
• Drive new business, group, corporate, and local market accounts.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, businesses, meeting planners, and community partners.
• Conduct sales calls, client visits, networking, site tours, and community outreach.
• Develop and manage a strong sales pipeline with consistent follow-up.
• Identify market opportunities and stay informed on local competition and trends.
• Collaborate closely with General Managers and hotel teams to achieve revenue goals.
• Promote hotel services, group accommodations, meeting space, and special offers.
• Track sales activities, account production, and results.
• Represent Ascent Hospitality professionally throughout the Gulfport community.
What We Are Looking For
• Previous hotel sales, hospitality, or business development experience preferred.
• Sales leadership experience with a proven ability to generate new business.
• Strong relationship-building, communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
• Highly organized, self-motivated, and results-driven.
• Strong follow-up skills and ability to manage multiple properties and priorities.
• Knowledge of the Gulfport/Biloxi market is a plus.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and sales/CRM systems preferred.
• Ability to travel locally between properties and attend client meetings and networking events.
