We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Clerical Assistant to join our team!
This individual is responsible for all tasks necessary to complete and maintain the employee insurance benefits system. This individual also provides assistance with other non-insurance related task such as ordering and maintaining parts logs, vehicle repair logs and multiple other reports not related to the insurance benefits portion of the job. This job requires someone that is capable of multi-tasking, organized and able to adapt to different systems.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Maintains benefit system to accurately reflect employees' health insurance elections and inputs system data to record such elections.
- Explains available benefits to employees and assists with the completion of required paperwork.
- Provides information for new hires and terminated employees concerning benefit options.
- Processes member enrollments, policy changes, health claims, and death claims as submitted.
- Assists with payroll reports.
- Working with workers compensation advisors to stay complaint.
- Viewing and operating the video system for multiple c-store locations.
- Maintaining vehicle repair logs and multiple reports dealing with driver’s hours.
- Assisting in ordering parts for maintenance.
- Working to maintain DOT logs and all driver required documents.
Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
