Role Summary
The Risk Analyst plays a crucial role in the re-insurance company by assessing and evaluating risks associated with insurance policies and providing analytical insights to support decision-making. The analyst will analyze data, develop risk models, and contribute to the development of risk management strategies. This position requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively with various stakeholders.
Role Accountabilities
- Support the underwriters through the policy management processes
- Compile and organise information related to underwriting submissions
- Prepare proposals, review insurer binders and other coverage documents
- Assist with follow-up in acquiring proper documentation during bidding process and keep company files current
- Review policies and other documents for accuracy
- Provide information to auditors as needed
- Compile internal management reports as needed
- Setting up and updating of insurance carrier, broker and client information on the policy management system and other required systems
- Communicate with underwriters to ensure all requirements are handled
- Any additional duties as assigned.
Role Requirements
- Insurance and/ or commerical construction industry experience is preferred
- Excellent organizational skill with a keen attention to detail
- Outstanding verbal and written communication skills
Skills and Abilities
- Bachelors Degree
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel and other MS Office Suite programs

Salary : $55,000 - $65,000
