In-House Loan Originator – Private Real Estate Lending Company
Rok Lending, a family office with a 50 year reputation headquartered in Aventura, is seeking an experienced Loan Originator to join our private real estate lending platform.
We specialize in real estate loans of $5 million and up and are looking for a driven professional with an established book of borrower and/or broker relationships. This position may be performed remotely.
The ideal candidate has at least 5 years of commercial lending experience, a proven track record of originating and closing loans, and the ability to manage relationships with brokers, developers, investors, and repeat borrowers.
Key Qualifications:
- Minimum 5 years of commercial real estate lending experience
- Established borrower and/or broker relationships
- Minimum of $50 million in loan closings over the last two years
- Strong understanding of underwriting criteria, loan structure, and compliance
- Excellent communication, organization, and follow-up skills
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
- Bachelor’s degree required
Responsibilities include:
- Sourcing and pre-qualifying borrowers and brokers
- Reviewing loan applications and financial information
- Preparing complete loan packages for underwriting
- Assisting with diligence, third-party reports, and closing coordination
- Maintaining strong industry relationships and market knowledge
