Car Wash Attendant /Customer Service Associate

Job Summary:

Now hiring Full-time day shift attendant, mainly Monday-Friday, 7:00am-3:30pm

We are looking for an individuals who have customer service experience, consistent positive attitude and a friendly personality to fill our Car Wash attendant/Customer Service position. The job includes assisting customers at the register terminals and loading cars into the car wash. Associates also help customers join the unlimited car wash memberships and help customers with any issues they may have on site.

This position also requires cleaning the premises, emptying trash barrels, making minor repairs and anything else it takes for the car wash facility to run successfully. We strive to make sure all customers have a great customer experience, all employees are required to be outgoing and very friendly towards the customers. The position is indoors and outdoors, open all year long. Days, nights and weekend shifts available. Must be able to work some nights weekends and Holidays.

Key Responsibilities:

• Greet customers as they drive up to payment stations.
• Assist customers at payment stations to select the wash, services and/or membership that suits their needs the best.
• Direct and instruct drivers into and onto the tunnel conveyor correctly.
• Deliver excellent service to all customers including resolving complaints and answering questions.
• Operate point of sale system and process payments.
• Maintain a clean and organized workplace around the entire car wash and site facility.
• Empty trash cans around vacuums and the facility daily.
• Complete other duties as assigned by Managers.
• Dress according to weather and work duties and job requirements.
• Stay off any electronic devices/phones unless there is an emergency.
• Clean machinery, equipment, and site daily.
• Use of materials such as water, cleaning agents, brushes, cloths, shovels, and hoses.
• Friendly, outgoing attitude with customers.
• Projects a respectful, professional manner at all times.
• Seeks advice from the facility Managers when limits of authority to resolve customer complaints are unclear.
• Maintains a clean location as directed by management in their assigned duties.

Environmental & Physical Requirements:

• This position requires you to work in various weather conditions
• Must be able to stand for long periods of time
• Must be 17 or older
• Driver's License (Preferred) or has reliable transportation

Location Operations:

• Maintain site cleanliness standards.
• Completes duties as assigned by management.
• Maintains safe conditions and follows procedures in times of inclement weather, damage to the property, or unforeseen emergencies.
• Reports to management any equipment or facility condition that is in need of repair or creates hazard.

Loss Prevention and Safety:

• Strict compliance of payment procedures and shift accounting.
• Adheres to safety procedures and loss prevention policies designed to maintain a safe environment for employees and customers.

Job Environment:

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, reach, and lift. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, and occasionally life and/or move up to 50 pounds.
