Job Summary

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Landscaper to join our dynamic outdoor maintenance team. In this role, you will be responsible for creating, maintaining, and enhancing beautiful outdoor spaces through skilled landscaping and groundskeeping practices. Duties

• Perform landscape maintenance tasks including mowing, trimming, pruning, planting, and fertilizing to ensure healthy and attractive outdoor spaces.
• Operate a variety of grounds maintenance equipment such as lawnmowers, power tools, excavators, and irrigation systems with safety and precision.
• Install and repair hardscape features like pathways, patios, retaining walls, and other landscape structures to enhance outdoor aesthetics.
• Manage irrigation systems by installing, adjusting, repairing, and maintaining sprinklers and watering schedules to promote plant health.
• Identify plants accurately to ensure proper care; apply pest control measures following pesticide management protocols while adhering to safety standards.
• Conduct tree care activities including trimming, pruning, and removal as needed; perform snow plowing during winter months for year-round grounds upkeep.
• Follow strict safety protocols during all tasks to prevent accidents; maintain a clean work environment and properly handle hand tools and power tools at all times.

Qualifications

• Proven outdoor work experience with a strong understanding of landscape maintenance and groundskeeping practices.
• Mechanical knowledge related to landscaping equipment operation including lawnmowers, power tools, excavators, and irrigation systems.
• Familiarity with horticulture principles, plant identification techniques, and garden management.
• Ability to operate grounds maintenance machinery safely while adhering to safety protocols.
• Experience with tree care activities such as trimming and pruning; knowledge of hardscape installation is a plus.
• Strong physical stamina for manual outdoor work in various weather conditions; ability to lift heavy materials is required.
• Construction experience or familiarity with landscaping projects involving excavation or hardscape installation is advantageous.
