Duties
- Assist with landscape maintenance tasks such as mowing, trimming, pruning, and edging to keep outdoor spaces pristine
- Operate hand tools and power tools safely for planting, digging, and installing landscape features
- Support installation of hardscape elements including patios, walkways, retaining walls, and other structures
- Perform lawn care activities like aeration, fertilizing, and overseeding to promote healthy turf growth
- Maintain irrigation systems by inspecting for leaks or clogs and making necessary adjustments
- Conduct tree care activities such as trimming, pruning, and planting with proper techniques and safety measures
- Support snow plowing operations during winter months to ensure safe access and clear pathways
Requirements
- Basic mechanical knowledge and familiarity with hand tools and power tools used in landscaping and construction
- Experience or interest in lawn care, gardening, landscape maintenance, or horticulture practices
- Ability to operate equipment such as excavators or other machinery with proper training or certification preferred
- Knowledge of landscaping techniques including hardscape installation and tree care practices
- Strong work ethic with the ability to follow safety protocols diligently
- Willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions and lift heavy materials when necessary
