The Role
As a Roof Repair Technician, you will be the boots-on-the-ground expert responsible for assessing roof damage, identifying the source of leaks, and performing high-quality repairs on residential and commercial properties. You will work with various roofing systems and materials, ensuring our customers' homes and businesses are safe, secure, and weatherproof.
Key Responsibilities
- Inspect and Diagnose: Safely access roofs to inspect for damage, wear and tear, missing shingles, and the source of active leaks.
- Execute Repairs: Perform targeted repairs on various roofing systems (asphalt shingles, metal, flat roofs, TPO, etc.), including replacing shingles, repairing flashing, and sealing joints.
- Preventative Maintenance: Clean gutters, clear debris, and provide preventative maintenance services to extend the life of customers' roofs.
- Technology & Documentation: Utilize a company tablet to build detailed reports in Company Cam and AccuLynx, diligently follow job checklists, and take clear before-and-after photos of all repairs.
- Customer Experience & Ambassadorship: Act as a true ambassador for the company. Communicate clearly with the customer to make them feel heard, valued, and confident that an excellent job was done.
- Job Finalization: Collect payments from customers upon job completion and actively ask satisfied customers for 5-star reviews.
- Safety First: Strictly adhere to all OSHA safety guidelines and company safety protocols, including the proper use of fall protection equipment and ladders.
- Material Management: Ensure the work truck is properly stocked with necessary tools, materials, and safety equipment each day.

Qualifications & Skills
- Experience: Minimum 2–3 years of proven experience in roofing, specifically in diagnostic leak detection and roof repairs.
- Knowledge: Should have comprehensive knowledge of installation methods and proper repair techniques for various systems, including TPO, EPDM, Modified Bitumen, and Shingles.
- Requirements: Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record and reliable transportation.
- Work Authorization: Must be eligible to work in the USA.
- Language: Must speak English proficiently.
- Tools: Must possess standard hand tools required for the trade (company provides specialized equipment).
- Soft Skills: Excellent problem-solving skills, strong communication, and a customer-focused attitude.
Physical Requirements
- Must be entirely comfortable working at heights and on various roof pitches.
- Must be capable of manipulating, setting up, and using a 40-foot ladder.
- Ability to lift, carry, and move materials weighing up to 50 lbs.
- Capacity to work outdoors year-round in various weather conditions (heat, cold, wind).
