Rohrs Manufacturing is an OEM company specializing in agricultural fertilizer and tillage equipment. We're looking for an adaptable and detail-oriented SolidWorks Mechanical Designer to join our team. The ideal candidate not only excels at precise design work but also understands our broader objectives and is eager to jump in and contribute to team success whenever needed.
Responsibilities
- Create and edit drawings in SolidWorks, including updating and managing custom properties.
- Convert and nest parts within Radan for optimal material utilization.
- Create assembly kits using Excel and Radan.
- Manage Bills of Materials (BOM) for assemblies involving sheet metal, structural tubing, DOM, fasteners, bearings, and other components.
- Prepare BOMs for project fabrication.
Qualifications
- Ability to follow and understand detailed instructions from management.
- Working knowledge of the SolidWorks program (SolidWorks certification or coursework preferred).
- Knowledge and use of Excel
- Strong communication and organizational skills with good attention to detail.
- Willingness to work with the team in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
