· Understanding plants and supplier lead times and production processes.
· Collect, analyze, and interpret data to help a company improve its performance and meet goals.
· Review stock levels, monitor inventory, and manage excess inventory.
· Creating Purchase Orders and maintaining RFID tag levels to ensure proper supply to plant.
· Evaluate and report on key metrics and performance indicators to internal stakeholders.
· Help identify potential risks and challenges, and help businesses devise strategies to mitigate them.
· Tracking KPIs and report on supply chain performance
· Analyze supply chain data related to purchasing, planning and inventory management
· Other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS
· Previous experience with SIOP, S&OP or IBP processes
· Strong Power BI and Excel Skills
· Bachelor's degree
· Two to four years of related experience
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES
· Advanced computer skills and interaction with vendor websites, emails, entering information into and querying databases, and analyzing with spreadsheets.
· Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel preferred.
· Strong planning and organizational skills to effectively manage product ordering in a cost effective but timely manner.
· Excellent verbal and written skills to provide effective communication with customers, fellow workers, vendors and company management.
· Capable of taking initiative in making decision(s).
· Knowledge of raw materials, production processes, quality control, costs, and other techniques for maximizing the effective manufacture and distribution of goods.
· Using logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions and approaches to problems.
· Consider the relative costs and benefits of potential actions to choose the most appropriate one.
· Strong judgment skills to determine the right amount of stock for prioritizing jobs.
