ESSENTIAL JOB TASKS

• Read and understand work orders to determine packing and product type.
• Setup work orders and set & check accuracy of scales.
• Gather packaging supplies needed for the job and build carton boxes for assigned line.
• Inspect products for functional and major/minor defects as defined by customer specifications.
• Compare shape, texture, or grade of product or material with sample to verify that it conforms to standards.
• Sort and pack finished product into bags, carton or other containers according to customer specifications.
• Returns all unused materials to the appropriate location.
• Immediately alert Quality Control of any quality problems and communicate any production problems to next shift Thermoforming team.
• Support and assist Thermoforming team.
• Stack finished cartons on skids in proper pattern.
• Record carton counts and log all finished product on production order.
• Lift heavy objects by hand or use hand pallet jack and clean work area, machines, and equipment, using broom, rags, and cleaning compounds, to assist machine operators.
• Complete assignments in a timely, diligent and safe manner.
• Maintain assigned lines in a clean and orderly condition; follow all safety policies and procedures including GMP practices to meet company standards.
• Participate in Lean Manufacturing Events as required.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS

• High School Diploma

AVAILABLE SCHEDULE

• 2nd Shift: 2:00PM - 10:00PM, Monday - Friday, Starts at $16.60 ( $0.40 Shift Premium)
• 3rd Shift: 10:00PM - 6:00AM, Sunday - Thursday, Starts at $17.60 ( $0.40 Shift Premium)
