• Accumulate dividers and cartons.
• Assure that each card has similar markings to identify packing placement and organization.
• Takes direction from FLexo Packer II for instruction on product assignment, line assignment, and packing pace.
• Check cards closely that are put into cartons and reassure that the collating marks are matched up correctly.
• Compare color, shape and texture to sample product to verify conformance to standards.
• Demonstrates teamwork and motivation on intensive and easier packing jobs.
• Ability to show consistent improvement on speed, able to keep up with the line, and shows interest in moving into a Flexo Packer II position.
• Recognize any error that may be presentable.
• Correctly uses required safety PPE: steel toe shoes, safety glasses, and hearing protection.
• Switch out and clean colors as needed for each job.
• Familiarizes self with the items being packed.
• Organize bottoms, dividers, and boxes.
• Responsible for cleaning units in the room.
• Completes daily end of shift duties as assigned by the Flexo Packer II and Flexo Operator positions.
• Help Flexo Press team members with greasing of machines, taking out trash, and stock skids as needed.
• Understands all packing line metrics and goals.
• Understands the line stop procedures.
• Other duties as assigned
