What are the responsibilities and job description for the Expeditor position at Rogue Wave Processing?
Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Expeditor to join our team in a fast-paced environment. The Expediting will only be part of the job, during times there is no expediting we would be looking for someone who is also able to do general maintenance or other yard jobs around our facility. The Expeditor plays a crucial role in ensuring that orders are picked up and delivered efficiently,. This position requires strong communication skills.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate pick ups and delivery between supply shops and our processing facility.
- Pick up employees from the airport and bring them back to the processing facility.
- Deliver food and supplies from our Processing Facility to our docks in Kasilof, Kenai & Homer.
- Support the team with general labor between expediting. Cleaning Totes, Moving equipment in the yard, carpentry or other maintenance.
Experience
- Previous experience in expediting would be an asset.
- The ability to communicate clearly and effectively.
- Comfortable driving, and a clean driving record.
- Drivers License
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- A positive attitude and willingness to help team members as needed.
