Rogue Valley Manor is looking for an Administration Intern. This internship is an exciting opportunity for a current student or recent graduate to gain firsthand experience for a multi-state retirement living organization.
Schedule
This internship will run for approximately three months. We will coordinate with you to create a schedule that accommodates your school commitments while remaining within standard business hours: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM.

You will work on a variety of projects and duties that provide you with a better understanding of the operations and goals of the department and the company as a whole. Our goal is to provide you with relevant experience and knowledge in conjunction with formal secondary education.

What You’ll Be Doing

How You’ll Do It
- Perform regular audits of department documents, policy and procedures to ensure information is updated, accurate and proofread.
- Complete and assist with major projects to keep department in compliance with state and federal laws and to keep department running efficiently.
- Provide sound research and unique perspective to relevant issues when contributing to project teams.
- Update and duplicate forms and files, transcribe and condense data as necessary.
- Contribute to relevant projects and provide coordination of information and communication channels.
- Distribute memos/notices to departments.
- Operate copy machine, fax machine and other office equipment.
- Computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office programs.
- Understanding of basic administrative practices, professional phone skills, office equipment use.
- Intuitive and proactive towards achieving goals and accomplishing tasks. General awareness of policies, procedures and normal business practices.
