Rogue Valley Door is seeking a detail-oriented and driven Shipping Manager to oversee all shipping and logistics operations within our door manufacturing facility. This role is responsible for ensuring all products are shipped accurately, on time, and in compliance with company quality standards. The Shipping Manager plays a key role in coordinating workflow, managing staff, and maintaining efficient operations while upholding our commitment to “World Class” quality. This is a full-time position. Salary is DOE.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and promote a “Safety First” culture in all shipping and warehouse operations
- Oversee daily shipping activities, ensuring orders are processed accurately and on schedule
- Coordinate shipping schedules with production and other departments to meet delivery timelines
- Supervise, train, and coach shipping personnel to ensure high performance and accountability
- Develop and maintain standard operating procedures for shipping, packaging, and inventory handling
- Ensure all outgoing products meet company quality standards and customer requirements
- Manage inventory accuracy related to finished goods and shipments
- Monitor workflow and adjust staffing or processes to meet demand
- Conduct employee evaluations and implement corrective actions when necessary
- Collaborate with Human Resources on staffing and disciplinary actions
- Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations and company policies
- Investigate and document any shipping errors, damages, or workplace incidents
- Maintain organization, cleanliness, and proper maintenance of the shipping area
- Safeguard confidential company and personnel information
- Perform other duties as assigned

Minimum Requirements:
- Minimum of 3 years of supervisory experience in shipping, logistics, or manufacturing
- Experience in a manufacturing environment (door or building materials industry preferred)
- High School Diploma or GED required; additional education is a plus
- Familiarity with MRP/ERP systems preferred
- Ability to lift, move, and work in a production/warehouse environment as needed
