Job Overview
We are seeking a reliable and dedicated Delivery Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting sheds, containers and mobile homes to various locations while ensuring timely and safe delivery. This role requires excellent customer service skills, mechanical reasoning, the ability to pay attention to details as well as the ability to handle heavy lifting and operate different types of vehicles, including simi trucks 4x4 trucks, wheeled mule, track mule, hydraulic trailers.

Responsibilities
- Safely operate delivery vehicles, to transport sheds and containers to designated locations.
- Load and unload sheds and containers using hydraulic tilt trailers and shed/Container mule.
- Ensure all deliveries are completed in a timely manner while adhering to traffic laws and safety regulations.
- Perform routine vehicle inspections and maintenance checks to ensure safe operation.
- Provide exceptional customer service by communicating effectively with clients during deliveries.
- Manage delivery paperwork accurately, including invoices and delivery confirmations.
- Assist with moving items as required, ensuring proper handling techniques are used for heavy lifting.
Requirements
- Valid CLD driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Experience driving over side loads, containers and or sheds and mobile homes
- Ability to operate a manual transmission vehicle is a plus.
- Familiarity with using forklifts and or heavy equipment .
- Strong physical stamina for heavy lifting and moving items throughout the day.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients.
- Previous experience in a delivery or logistics role is beneficial but not mandatory.

Pay: $30.00 - $40.00 per hour
