Job Summary
We are seeking a full time dedicated and compassionate Certified Medical Assistant to join our healthcare team. This role combines clinical support with administrative responsibilities, ensuring smooth patient flow and high-quality care. The ideal candidate will have experience in the medical spa setting and have a strong knowledge of aesthetic procedures and products as well as aesthetic assessment. The position offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic healthcare setting that emphasizes patient-centered care and efficient clinic operations.
Duties
- Patient intake, medical history review, medication reconciliation, and vital signs.
- Phlebotomy, specimen labeling, and laboratory processing.
- Assisting providers with aesthetic and wellness procedures within training and authorized responsibilities.
- Preparing treatment rooms, supplies, and equipment.
- Infection prevention, disinfection, and safe sharps handling.
- Accurate charting and experience with electronic medical records.
- Reinforcing provider-directed preparation and aftercare instructions.
- Recognizing and promptly reporting patient concerns or changes in condition.
- Appointment scheduling, patient follow-ups, and professional phone and text communication.
- Inventory management, supply ordering, and expiration date tracking.
- Maintaining patient confidentiality and following HIPAA practices.
- Strong customer service, attention to detail, time management, and teamwork.
Skills
- Current medical assistant certification
- Current BLS
- Previous experience working in a spa or medical spa setting.
- Knowledge of common aesthetic procedures, medical spa services, and professional skincare products.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in documentation and administrative tasks
- Experience with EHR use and medical documentation
- Experience with Vagaro preferred
Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour
