Position Title: Support Services (Program) Director

Job Classification: Full-Time

Position Type: Exempt, not eligible for overtime

Job Grade: 6

Reports to: Executive Director

Rogue Retreat is seeking a dynamic leader to support our peer support and case management team. The Supportive Service Director ensures that the guests and participants in Rogue Retreat programs are treated with dignity and respect as the navigate their personal journey from homelessness to stability.The ideal candidate exemplifies consistent, compassionate leadership, has a strong supervisory background, and has experience working in case management, clinical supervision, care coordination, or a similar field. Experience in trauma informed care, developing workplace culture, and collaborative problem solving are strongly preferred.

Objective and Purpose
The Program Director is responsible for creating, modifying, and overseeing all aspects of Rogue Retreat's programs, including the case management program that distinguishes Rogue Retreat as a hands-up organization. As the organization's educator, the Programs Director continuously seeks opportunities to enhance programs effectiveness, improve participant outcomes, and develop staff knowledge and skills. Through ongoing training, collaboration, and innovation, the Program Director ensures staff are equipped with the tools, resources, and understanding needed to effectively support participants and advance the mission of Rogue Retreat.

Preferred Qualifications
Degree in Social Work or related field i.e. human services, health or education, or equivalent experience.
2 years of supervisory experience required.
2 years overseeing programs in a non-profit setting required.
2 years as a case manager assisting low-income and homeless population.
1 years of experience as a volunteer and/or employee in a social service agency.
Extensive knowledge of community resources available to serve participants in the programs.
Be able to carry out responsibilities with little or no supervision.
Exhibit good written and verbal communications skills.
Exhibit strong problem solving and group work leadership skills.
Exhibit good conflict resolution and crisis de-escalation techniques.
Exhibit basic knowledge of computer skills including Microsoft Office and Google Apps
Exhibit discipline for personal time management and record keeping.
Exhibit the ability to work well with other staff and volunteers.

Essential Functions
Initiates and sets goals for programs according to the strategic objectives of Rogue Retreat.
Leads in creating, implementing and managing of programs and services.
Provides supervision and support for case managers and peer support specialists. Participates in annual employee evaluations for program staff.
Oversees quality assurance data collection and distribution to appropriate organizations.
Oversees case management to level 4 & 5 participants to assist them with transitioning out of the program.
Ensures program operations and activities adhere to legal guidelines and internal policies.
Assists staff with program and participant related concerns as they arise.
Works to adjust and modify existing programs and policies as needed.
Oversees outreach activities to the community.
Responsible for ensuring a high-level of data quality including audits of case files, reviewing contract data requirements and database information as needed.
Ensures the weekly Life Skills training is created and distributed to participants.
Coordinates all outreach for Rogue Retreat to the community (both participants and partners).
Works closely with HR and the Trainer to develop training program for staff.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $57,200.00 - $65,603.20 per year
